Hackers-Deface-More-Microsoft-Windows-Do

It’s really no surprise that Microsoft’s websites are among the top targets for hackers worldwide, but it’s a bit shocking to hear that some domains actually fall victims to attackers.

Pakistani hackers of Team Madleets have managed to get users to a defacement page via DNS poisoning attack aimed at domains from the Caribbean islands of Antigua and Barbuda, Suriname, and Saint Lucia.

Cyber-N is reporting that microsoftwindows.br, msn.sr, microsoft.sr, bing,sr, and several other websites have been involved in the attacks, with some of them still showing the defacement page we’ve told you about.

There’s no statement coming from Redmond at this point, but the company’s security engineers are most likely working with local NICs on addressing the issues and bringing the original DNS settings back online.
