I am using 2.2.1 25310; however, if there is a later non ad supported version that has more security or bug fixes etc, i would rather update to that one. Here it is:A simple to fix to rid yourself of the ad displaying issues in utorrent client 3.1.1 and later builds.Do the following:1. Click "Options" and uncheck these 2 items "Show Featured Content" and "Show Plus Information"2. Click "Options" click "Preferences" In left pane window, click on "Advanced" at the bottom (Note: don't click on the + symbol next to it which expands that field to other areas) In the Advanced window, scroll down to where it says "Offers." There are 4 of them. Set the values as shown below. NAME: VALUE: offers.content_offer_autoexec falseoffers.content_offer_url (nothing in this URL field. It should be empty)offers.left_rail_offer_enabled *falseoffers.sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled *false3. Click "Apply" button and then "OK" button to save changes. Done!!
