Open regedit and delete the following two keys and all their subs: HKLM/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/WinsockHKLM/System/CurrentControlSet/Services/Winsock23. Copy the new reg files from the download (files at bottom of article) onto the trouble computer, winsock.reg and winsock2.reg (unzip/unpack and burn them to a disc or use a usb flash drive to copy them.)4. Double-click on each one and allow it to be entered into the registry.5.
