Ubisoft Reveals Watch Dogs PC Minimum Requirements: Quad-Core CPU, 64 bit OSs

With just a month left until Ubisoft is expected to release Watch Dogs, new details on the game's PC requirements have just been unveiled.


Not sure if these were added on purpose or they've been inadvertently on the publisher's official online store, but here it goes.

According to a listing on Uplay Shop spotted by neoGAF forum member angular graphics, the following system requirements are needed for Watch Dogs to run optimal on a PC:

Base specification:

- Operating System: Windows Vista (SP2), Windows 7 (SP1) or Windows 8;
- Note that we only support 64 bit OSs;
- DVD-ROM: DVD-ROM Dual Layer;
- Hard Drive Space: 20 GB;
- Sound: DirectX 9.0c Compatible Sound Card with Latest Drivers;
- Internet: Broadband connection and service required for multiplayer mode.

Minimum specification:

- GPU: DirectX 11 graphics card with 1 GB Video RAM;
- CPU: Quad core;
- RAM: 4GB.

Ubisoft also confirms the following recommended specification for Watch Dogs for PC:

Recommended specification:

- GPU: DirectX 11 graphics card with 2 GB Video RAM;
- CPU: Eight core;
- RAM: 8GB.

Rigs with much more powerful hardware configurations than what's listed above are considered “Ultra” and will have no issues in running the game:

“Ultra” specification:

- GPU: Latest DirectX 11 graphics card with 2 GB Video RAM or more;
- CPU: Latest Eight core or more;
- RAM: 8GB or more.
