Windows-Vista-Still-Has-More-Users-than-

Windows 8 is at this point the third top OS worldwide, still behind Windows 7 and Windows XP, but statistics for the United States are quite good news for Microsoft.

Figures provided by StatCounter for the month of September reveal that most Americans are still running Windows 7 right now, as this particular version is now installed on no less than 46.58 percent of computers in the country.

Windows XP comes second with a market share of 14.69 percent, while Mac OS X reached the last place on the podium with 12.55 percent of the computers in the US.

Windows Vista remains the fourth choice for Americans, as it’s still powering 8.5 percent of their desktop PCs, while Windows 8 is next with 7.63 percent.

If this really matters, Windows 8 has managed to overtake some popular mobile platforms, including iOS and Android, but it clearly lost the battle with all the other desktop operating systems, including Microsoft’s biggest disaster in history.

Maybe they don't have money to upgrade since they don't know about nsaneforums :) and they have no idea what they are missing.

Windows 8 is the windows vista.

Microsoft TM didn't listen to the general public, with vista and 8.

Well they ignored all the feedback I gave them.

All I want and I am sure everyone else wants, which use a PC and/Or a Laptop/Notebook is desktop like 7 and XP and a little more control a bit more colour a bit more control and a stronger

more functional operating system with a freakin start button like 7 and XP.....95.

Add a few more elements, some software functions like keyscrambler (save me paying a licence) and don't get rid of windows messenger, we are like in love.

I would also like to see a Microsoft TM version of alcohol.

I do mention start button a lot, means a lot.

I asked my daughter if she wants my Windows 8 Pro x64, she replied, ''NO! it's crap, I am happy with Windows 7 x64''.

Say no more, Bill!
