This is the same free version I have had for months. The file hash is the same as the last version. Yes I downloaded from the link on main page.

That site is garbage. Not that Avira is top in it's game, but they give ZoneAlarm such a low score when they use the same engine as Kaspersky.

this site is not absolutly true, just use some tests, what could be behind true, zonealarm can use kaspersky engine, wich much badder than avira forexample, kaspersky good just because very fast update data base, mb even they create 80% of viruses lol

but zone alarm never was good, i think they guys made this antivirus just for fun, many products use collaborate technic with engine of other vendors, but not every one good with it

any way all security products not so simple for be good only with good engine or with fast update data base of viruses, some time programmer guys just not so fast like hackers who write new and new and new code

so why we got proactive things like sonar in symantec, or with cloud update in avira 2014

today need many things to steell good, fast update base, interactive realtime update services, good heuristick, transparense for system resurses(performance) etc.

so every one of them could be crap sometime, this just lucky, every second we can catch new virus, and some shity k7 can catch it, but beetdeffender - not, or something like this

and every antivirus got them own politics, some of them whana catch every thing, some of them just realy dengerouse, some of them could be optional

i thing if av-test was be realy crap, so they was be closed long time ago

sory for terrible english, language what i really know only russian and very bad russian:)

p.s.

but in general everything is changing very fast, so no one can say what antivirus to this second objective best

and more important in the overall trend for a long time use results
