Try disabling UAC completely when installing.UAC is disabled.EDIT: Problem solved. I just deleted the registry entry mentioned here and rebooted the computer. Try disabling UAC completely when installing.UAC is disabled.Try This : 1) Open Regedit 2) Use search option to find "vmware workstation.exe" 3) Delete the parent key (containing "C:\Users\(Username)\AppData\Local\Temp\vmware_1378438373\vmware workstation.exe") 4) Delete VMWare folders in C:\Users\(UserName)\AppData\Local & C:\Users\(UserName)\AppData\Roaming. 5) Run Ccleaner and Clear everything including temp files and registry keys etc. 6) Restart your system & Run VMware Workstation setup as Administrator (if the MSI error still appears then head to link) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
