since its release, avast internet security 8 gives me a problem on my windows 8.

after uninstalling avast 8 internet security, it becomes impossible to connect to internet.i've tried in all possible ways,(uninstaller tool,etc.) but the only solution is restoraring a disk image using Acronis previously made.it happens to you? someone using Acronis, can try to verify it? anyone of you have installed the version of avast internet security 8 might have the same problem, uninstalling it from windows 8.

not the AV,but only IS version,and only in Windows 8 OS.

edit:

this problem does not exist with version 9 beta.

i hope that in the final version of IS 9 this issue can be fixed.

Just block AvastUI.exe with firewall and you're fine. ;-)

...i'm not use firewall...only antivirus...i'm a router modem...

I think the patch is officially dead now. I block the AvastUI.exe but I still get the expired message and it's no longer updating.
