rudrax
Seems like KeePass is the lightest password manager available and like most of the open source apps, it's also not "instal and go" kind. It's needs to be configured.I want to use this as a browser password manager for firefox. So, I need help of the guys who is using it successfully.I've tried the tutorial in this http://keepass.info/help/base/firststeps.html link but I'm getting an error with firefox. Pedrito
I use auto type. I just have to select the entries manually for each site.It takes a few seconds more but it works every time. ;)

rudrax
have you tried "Sticky Password" good password manager. One feature I like we can make portable version Sticky password is very easy to use utility. I liked it while I was on windows 7 but it had a issue. It used to freeze the browser for a few secs while filling the login data. Is that issue still continues with windows 8? If the issue is solved, I will give it a try as it's very easy to use.
rach
make sure you have filled the URL entry correctly, where the forms are locatedand I use KeeFox
majithia23
@rudraxI dont remember KeeFox filling in the log in credentials automatically the last time i used it .You have to tell it to fill in the form .Was using both KeePass and Lastpass for the last so many years , but gave up KeePass 2 years back !Presently satisfied with LastPass and here also i have set it to "NOT" enter any data automatically .I prefer to manually tell it to enter the required fields . Works good and to my taste , especially for web sites with clashing credentials or with multiple IDs .

rudrax
Alright, I'm switching to Sticky pasword. KeePass is messy quite a lot!
rach
how to work with KeePass and integrate it with Firefox- Install Firefox- Install KeePass- Create Database (Ctrl + N), enter your database name- Enter your master password- Step 2, you can pass it- Save database first (Ctrl + S)- Create your password database by Add Entry (Ctrl + I), and don't forget to save the database if you finish Integrate with Firefox using addons (KeeFox)- Open Firefox, then go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/keefox/- Install this addon- Click Setup KeeFox to integrate KeePass with Firefox using KeeFox- Launch KeePass (if it is closed)- Login to the website as usualafter login, choose the option if you want to save the password into KeePass or not- the next time you visit the website, you just need to launch KeePass and click your login info on the toolbar to login into the websitethanks :)
