Microsoft has named the date of issuance of the operating system Windows 8.1

The official statement said the final version of Windows 8.1, Microsoft appointed on 18 October 2013 in the company's blog.

The first to install the update, reportedly will be able to New Zealand population. Later the same day, Windows 8.1 will be available for purchase as a standalone product or in a pre-release on new computers all over the world.

Customers who have already bought Windows 8, will be a free upgrade to version 8.1 from the online store of the Windows Store.

The beta version of Windows 8.1 is available for download for all in June 2013 now. At the end of the month of August has been set the RTM-output version of the operating system, which will be sent to computer manufacturers.

Among the changes that will appear in the first major upgrade of Windows 8, appear on the "Start" button, and the ability to skip the screen "Start" when you log in, search and interact with the amendment to the SkyDrive cloud services.

Released operating system, Windows 8 in October 2012, and now, according to Alex Service, is the fourth most widely used in the world after the operating system Windows 7, Windows XP and OS X.
