Each time I start my laptop from sleep mode, I get a popup from HDDR that says, "0x02 SMART Error." Any idea what it means and how to fix it?

does it occur too if you shutdown your laptop?

No. I just ran a scan with HDDR on my HDD and it didn't come up with any errors. I restarted and during startup, I didn't get the error.

HD Sentinel says that my HDD status is OK.

NO.

Please note that error 0x02 is just a PERFORMANCE ERROR and that can be triggered by a lot of situations that have nothing to do with electromechanical failures on disk, for example a bad HDD controller driver, a damaged/absent installation of intel rapid storage technology (some intel motherboards only), bad cables, and so on.
