Knightmare
Each time I start my laptop from sleep mode, I get a popup from HDDR that says, "0x02 SMART Error." Any idea what it means and how to fix it?

Knightmare
This software wil repair the bad sectors in the HDD[Fulfilled] HDD Regenerator 2011 (April 30th, 2013) Thanks. I have the program already; that's what is giving the error. The only problem is it would run on my hdd because it is in use.

I restarted and during startup, I didn't get the error.

alister white hat
NO.Please note that error 0x02 is just a PERFORMANCE ERROR and that can be triggered by a lot of situations that have nothing to do with electromechanical failures on disk, for example a bad HDD controller driver, a damaged/absent installation of intel rapid storage technology (some intel motherboards only), bad cables, and so on.
