Journey Posted July 26, 2013 Share Posted July 26, 2013 Just for your information, Google Chrome 29.x has come about as a result of serious issues with 28.x Final versions. If you're one of those, like me, that still has a floppy drive, you might want to think twice about using Chrome 28.x. Many people, including myself have reported that every time Chrome 28.x is run, it accesses your floppy drive. Other have said it also accesses portable storage such as a flash drive. Some have pondered that Chrome could be possibly accessing your hard drives. The only problem there is you won't know if that's happening or not as hdd are generally silent unlike the floppy drive..I sent off a pretty nasty response to the developers of Chrome. Naturally they are now responding with a new version currently in the development stages called 29.xSo if you love Chrome, use version 27.x or try the new 29.x beta but stay far away from 28.xNow you know,Journey Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
