Disable Anti-AdBlockers?

Hello friends,

I'm wondering if is there any way to "bypass" those messages from some sites telling you to disable your adblocker to be able to see the their contents.

Right now I have Adblock Plus add-on and a custom hosts file from this site: http://someonewhocares.org/

I've seen some sites blocking me because of that but I don't want to disable my ABP and even if I disable it, I still can't be able to go thru it. One example is this premium filesharing site: http://hubturkey.net

Maybe some of you guys know any script, add-on or any other solution for this case that want share with us. :)

Thanks in advance.

Excuse my poor English, it's not my main...

But why this AdBlock to You at all, if you want to ignore it? OK. Open the Adblock menu and disable it for this site, thats all. There You can also disable/ enable it at all or You can change also the rules. No more script not needed.

I use Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus - it's very effective (more potent than Adblock Plus, itself.) I also love the fact that it integrates into and combines very well with Adblock Plus. :showoff:

Thanks Kalju for yor reply.

Well, I tried disabling ABP but still getting the message. It's probably an address listed on my hosts file.

About you said why adblock for me, it's an obvious reason: I don't like ads all over my screen when browsing but some sites block their content when they detect my ABP. What I'm looking for is a way to bypass that block message without need to disable my ABP or changing my hosts.

Again, thank you. :)

That . . . . . . . . . . . . . or you could possibly have some other add-ons like NoScript restricting those pages.

Just checked, it was blocking even when Ghostery was enabled. Check if you have Do Not Track Plus or Ghostery. Also, I can't detect much on the site, meaning, I'm not able to find any ways to bypass adblock restriction.

Also, the site seems to be using Google ads, which are, in most cases, non-intrusive.

That's surely good advice for those on a faster internet connection speed (and unlimited bandwith.)

Others (like me - who gotta multi-task our bandwith on slow connections) are not really being selfish - remember, we try best contribute to the site in our own unique ways. ;)

It does if judiciously used - especially when rich images come into play that otherwise take an extremely long time to load on slow connections. :)

For example, ABP does a wonderful job on the the signatures of staff members that cannot be turned off from the Control Panel. :P
