Samsung announced two new tablet models to its Android device lineup today. The 8-inch and 10.1-inch variants of the Galaxy Tab 3 are slight refreshes of the company’s older Tab models and will exist alongside the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3. Both new tablets will ship with 4.2 Jelly Bean at launch, though they come with very different specifications.

The 8-inch device is fueled by a dual-core 1.5GHz processor with 1.5GB of RAM, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. It’s also available with 3G and 4G capabilities and has up to 32GB of internal storage, a 1280×800 pixel display, and a 4450 mAh battery pack. This device will live alongside the Galaxy Note 8, which shares the same screen resolution and camera specifications as the Galaxy Tab 3. However, the Note has a quad-core 1.6GHz processor with 2GB of RAM—a leg-up over the Tab 3’s dual-core one—and it features S Pen functionality for handwriting recognition.

The 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 3 replaces the 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 2 and sports beefed up specifications, though it will only have 1GB of RAM. Its 1.6GHz processor is being produced by Intel, and it will have 4G LTE capabilities, a 1280×800 pixel display resolution, and a 6800 mAh battery pack. Its rear-facing camera is 3MP.

The two tablets will be available internationally this month, but Samsung offered no specific launch date or starting price.
