Hello.

So,as title says, rate my current security setup, and suggest me a better firewall with better HIPS (EAM already has BB so no need for another BB)

Realtime AV :

  • Emsisoft Antimalware

Firewall :

(Note : I had issues with Outpost FIrewall,so anybody who saw my Outpost vs Online Armor thread,I didn't update that thread -- Too lazy to,so I'm sticking with Online Firewall, for now)

  • Emsisoft Online Armor (Premium version now,as I edit this,I've premium version ;D)

On-demand scanners :

  • Hitman Pro
  • ESET online scanner
  • Roguekiller (just in-case,I don't scan regularly)
  • Superantispyware Pro (on background, though the realtime protection suck)
  • Comodo Cleaning Essentials
  • Kaspersky TDSS killer (the second just-in-case)
  • Spybot search & destroy (barely using, last scan ran like 3 months ago)

Extra security programs :

  • ProcessMonitor
  • Comodo Killswitch
  • Adwcleaner
  • Shadow Defender
  • Looking for few more, suggest me below

My add-ons for Firefox :

  • Mywot
  • Adblock plus

My spec : (Note : Before mocking me,I don't use this PC for gaming,I've other PC for that, but no internet connection, since I only purchase the game & install it,and if I need updates,I use offline-updater with help of my main PC)

2.80 GHz

Intel Duo Core 2

2 GB of RAM

100 GB free space

I'll add some later

Browsing habbits :

  • Banking (don't be surprised)
  • Forums
  • Downloading
  • IM
  • Music
  • Movies

PC optimization softwares :

  • CCleaner
  • Advanced Systemcare 6

So yeah, rate my current security setup (accoridng to my habbits and spec) and suggest me new firewall (with more features than Online Armor free + better protection).

Darn! My computer would not run if I had all that stuff on it. I think you have yourself covered. Keep Smiling!

Yeah I would add sandboxie and a image software. Maybe even a light virt like shadow defender, if you didn't like sandboxie. Adding a DNS like norton or comodo wouldn't hurt either. Folks he isn't running all the apps. Most of them are on-demand. His real time is Emsisoft AV and Firewall. Emsisoft AV and firewall are pretty solid for the most part. The only thing like I already said is a back up/ image. For the just in case times.

you forgot to add MBAM (or am I blind). Its much better than SAS and Spybot. :)

For Imaging or backup software, I would go for IFW or DS

I wont, use OA. Too buggy lots of popups. Emsisoft is least bothered in merging it with EAM And polishing. EAM+outpost firewall or EAM+Windows firewall should be good enough.
