LazyPotato Posted May 30, 2013 Share Posted May 30, 2013 Hello.So,as title says,rate my current security setup,and suggest me a better firewall with better HIPS (EAM already has BB so no need for another BB)Realtime AV :Emsisoft AntimalwareFirewall :(Note : I had issues with Outpost FIrewall,so anybody who saw my Outpost vs Online Armor thread,I didn't update that thread -- Too lazy to,so I'm sticking with Online Firewall,for now)Emsisoft Online Armor (Premium version now,as I edit this,I've premium version ;D)On-demand scanners :Hitman ProESET online scannerRoguekiller (just in-case,I don't scan regularly)Superantispyware Pro (on background,though the realtime protection suck)Comodo Cleaning EssentialsKaspersky TDSS killer (the second just-in-case)Spybot search & destroy (barely using,last scan ran like 3 months ago)Extra security programs :ProcessMonitorComodo KillswitchAdwcleanerShadow DefenderLooking for few more,suggest me belowMy add-ons for Firefox :MywotAdblock plusMy spec : (Note : Before mocking me,I don't use this PC for gaming,I've other PC for that,but no internet connection,since I only purchase the game & install it,and if I need updates,I use offline-updater with help of my main PC)2.80 GHz Intel Duo Core 22 GB of RAM100 GB free spaceI'll add some laterBrowsing habbits :Banking (don't be surprised)ForumsDownloadingIMMusicMoviesPC optimization softwares :CCleanerAdvanced Systemcare 6So yeah,rate my current security setup (accoridng to my habbits and spec) and suggest me new firewall (with more features than Online Armor free + better protection). SkyrimGuy Posted May 31, 2013 Share Posted May 31, 2013 Yeah I would add sandboxie and a image software. Maybe even a light virt like shadow defender, if you didn't like sandboxie. Adding a DNS like norton or comodo wouldn't hurt either. Folks he isn't running all the apps. Most of them are on-demand. His real time is Emsisoft AV and Firewall. Emsisoft AV and firewall are pretty solid for the most part. The only thing like I already said is a back up/ image. For the just in case times.
