MrVoice
Weather in the Midwest of the United States has been weirdest in living memory. Record snows in April and May, along with record high temperatures in recent days. And they say climate change is a myth...

dcs18
The last 2 years, over here too - were comparatively extreme. Summers were hotter, Winters were colder and the monsoons were deeper in the rains.
dMog
weather has always been severe...just not so much on the USA and Canada...we here in North America have just never paid attention to the details of the death tolls and damage when it happened to other areas of the world. Now, that it is in our own back yard so to speak, it is suddenly noteworthy ps.... I wonder if this is yet just one more false flag operation :D

Absolutely maddening .5 minutes out in the sun and you are dead meat .And , sadly its never been this hot . ....Here is some proof and an interesting article --Survey of 12,000 studies finds strong agreement on climate changehttp://arstechnica.com/science/2013/05/survey-of-12000-studies-finds-strong-agreement-on-climate-change/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+arstechnica%2Findex+%28Ars+Technica+-+All+content%

MidnightDistortions
Weather lately has been extreme. Last year (or the year before) there was this windstorm that tore roofs off buildings. Other crazy weather lately, normally it gets fairly warm during this time but it's been erratic. Heck, there was a snowstorm i think the beginning of this month (or last month?). 60F feels like 70-75F and 89F feels like 76-82F 'ish. Makes you wonder what is going on. MidnightDistortions
Personally i think there would be less deaths if humanity focused on well... humanity instead of profit, gain and things. We are capable of providing proper shelter that is resistant against tornadoes but 'it's too expensive to build'. All it really is, it's using different materials and different methods to get it done. With the way things are with the weather it's a shame we are not utilizing our knowledge to our benefit. nIGHT
In my country, thousands died this early quarter due to severe storms.Towns were wiped out overnight and the dead lies everywhere. This never happened before. All the trees that were hit by these storms where torn down into halves. Our gov't made a study about sea level rise, floods and soil erosion and they said it is very alarming. And oh! it never snow in my country, never heard of it for a thousand years, but it happened just this February. haha! Also, hailstorm in the size of a baseball hit our houses and cars.So this is not yet climate change. haha! What more if this is the real deal? nyahahahaha! ;)Better go onboard a mothership to live in space! nyahahaha! :lmao:
jtmulc
@ nuthut you just confused me in what you are talking about. And fine if you thought the comment was funny. You have your opinion, I have mine.?????Search me. I know I'm not in congress, and I'm not passing any laws. The thing a lot of people don't seem to get about the First Amendment is, it only applies to what the government may not do. Private citizens and entities can and do legally limit speech all the time. These forums, for example, have rules that boil down to "play nice, folks". Yes, they serve a purpose and we are better here for them, but it does limit what we can say, lest we get disciplined. Likewise, if I badmouthed my employer in a public forum and revealed confidential corporate information, I would soon be out of a job and facing a lawsuit.Point 2: dMog is Canadian (or at least says he is). The First Amendment to the US Constitution doesn't apply to foreign nationals in other countries.

The First Amendment to the US Constitution doesn't apply to foreign nationals in other countries.Well I was specifically talking about my right in a general sense. As long as I have it here or in general I have the right to speak my mind, and you yours until that right is taken away. Thanks for explaining your version of the First Ammendment to me. I do not see where we different much, except it applies to what the government cand do and what we can do in free speech, free rights to our religious beliefs, to be able to assemble together to practice it, for the press to freely report the news without an attack on them by the government like we have right now in the US. See this is what is great about the first ammendment. I can say whatever I want, yes there might be consequences, but I can say it. And as long as I am willing to fight for it, what punishment comes will only strengthen those who also believe in it and follow behind me.Have a nice day.
