KilJaden Posted March 7, 2009 Share Posted March 7, 2009 No big deal; that's why God created PowerDVD. ;)I was hopping Microsoft would license a decoder for Blu-ray , from PowerDVD like they did with the Dvd decoder in Vista , but it seems that either Microsoft still isn't supporting Blu-ray, or they are just cheap bastards and won't pay a extra buck for the quality of PowerDVD's decoders. Lammster Posted March 7, 2009 Share Posted March 7, 2009 Default Microsoft codecs aren't the best anyway. They're not awful, but they're updated once in a blue moon and, in my own limited experience, have fewer features. I'd rather have a decent 3rd party decoder that I picked myself than a run-the-mill decoder that is included in the cost of my operating system, despite whether I choose to use it.
