Donaldo
People who use Nod32 should read this new test...http://mtc.sri.com/live_data/av_rankings/If you're trying to trying to highlight the fact that NOD32 appears to be ranked last (31st) just take a closer look, it's the V2 they're referring to not the V4. This thread is about V4 and those Punks need to grow up - I did . . . . . . . . . . we all did.

shought
Guys, end this discussion here please ;)If you want to discuss which AV is the best out there please go waste your time elsewhere(like in another topic) ;)Edit: No offense to the people who already posted about this, but this topic is about ESET V4 Fixes and not about the subject of 'which AV is best', as I know tests and stuff like that lead to discussions I though I'd cut it off here :)
Donaldo
i use NodLogin and it works for Business Edition.NodLogin works across all flavors & versions of NOD32 - it comes as close to a registered solution as humanly possible.

Hoca
All recent mara fixes have had the title "mara- fix" when executed. So that much is normal. The screen-shot that @george88boom has given (Post#855) is shown when you execute any of the recent mara fixes and it finds you have previously installed a mara fix, it's just offering to un-install the previous fix for you :)Unless I've missed an earlier post I would suggest you answer YES, un-install the fix already on your system (whatever that may be? the current mara fixes will also detect if you have an older mara fix for ESET 3.x on your system) and then stop using mara- fix 1.1 that you have at the moment and grab the latest mara- fix 1.5 available from the frontpage :DCheers
Hoca
@mara-When I un-install your fix, will it put the ESET service it had previously delayed loading back to its default loading position?Or will I have to un-install/re-install ESS to achieve this?Cheers

harpua
I'm loving v4.I don't remember if the ability to filter scan results was available in v3 but I've been finding that feature useful in v4. Also agree v4 is much more stable than v3.

Hoca
@IlegalecI think there is a known issue with x64 installs that will bring the username/password problem. In the meantime when it asks for a username and password try entering eset in both fields.Let us know if it works? Donaldo
Punks need to grow up - I did . . . . . . . . . . we all did.@DonaldoSo.....are you moving from v2 to v4? kotaxor, I jumped onto the V4 bandwagon just before it was frontpaged here (was tipped off by Noddy, who is a Beta Tester with ESET.) The bug causing that conflict in my system is finally set right by ESET in V4. :) My frank opinion is this:Version 4 is much more stable as compared to v3.Don't wait too long :sneaky:Righto, V4 has held steadfast at 4.0.314.0 - folks here would remember the time when V3 debuted and was so buggy, that ESET was releasing new versions almost every week. Comparatively, V4 is absolutely a stable release.@ Folks - help yourselves to your favorite fix. However, if it fails to meet your expectation give NodLogin a try - it's working consistently (until your favorite fix gets it's pants back on.) :P

Donaldo
@DonaldoBug in v2?No, not in V2 - was referring to the bug in all versions of V3 (System brings up the BSOD when one attempts to copy/cut paste GBs from one directory to another of data containing archives of compressed data.) This behavior noted irrespective of using a license or a fix.BTW, this bug has been eliminated in V4 (tested using different fixes) - anyways, don't see how any fix should be related to this bug.
