donizme
I am sure firefox fans were eagerly awaiting Firefox 3.1 in Q1 but it seems the bugs in tracemoney (new firefox java engine) has delayed this release yet again.Originally scheduled for late 2008, then Q1 2009, it now seems Mozilla plan beta 4 to iron out the remaining bugs. With the imminent release of IE8 and recently released Safari 4 beta (which is only slightly slower than Google Chrome 2 in benchmark testing). Mozilla is facing increasing pressure to to stay ahead of the pack.Google Chrome 2.0.167.0 is around 45% faster than the latest Firefox 3.1 nightly. Safari 4 beta is 38% faster than the firefox 3.1 nightly.Lets hope the final Firefox 3.1 will at least match the speed of Google Chrome, since the guy who created javascript is working for Mozilla, I think it's looking good :)Firefox 3.1 Will Not Make Q1
Ambrocious
Speed is less of a factor when it comes to an all around good and safe internet surf engine. Chrome will progress and get good some day but for now Firefox still is my top favorite.
