SP2 for Windows Vista includes updates that have been delivered since the release of SP1, as well as support for new types of hardware and emerging standards. Slightly better shutdown to sleep times on my rig is the main thing I notice so far. Also the evaluation watermark in the lower right hand corner. I suppose there will be a fix to get rid of that available shortly somewhere or other.But seems like a solid and stable release candidate so far as I can tell. I agree, what a flawed waste of money, although I still like Vista, but that is after I spent a long time figuring out how to tweak it, and it still has some stability issues that I hope SP2 will fix.
