nsane.forums
Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon is not due for another few weeks but it’s already turning up on torrent sites. The leak, a 3GB file for PC, was reportedly obtained by Russian hackers who exploited Ubisoft’s uPlay game launcher. In addition to enabling access to Blood Dragon which was apparently just sitting there on Ubisoft’s servers, the exploit caused uPlay to think that users already owned other games.According to Gameranx, this enabled titles to be downloaded for free and played offline without DRM.Discussions currently taking place on Russian forums indicate that Ubisoft have still not fixed the problem.View: Original Article
irefay
Funny, sure, but I dont see how this will help convince Ubisoft that DRM should be avoided.
iaTa
Unless it was leaked on purpose so they have yet another BS excuse to enforce DRM...
SnakeMasteR
Wow, i actually think about the amount of damage "free" game downloads thru uPlay have been made until yet. That hurts very bad and goes directly onto the Ubisoft pockets, only because of their stupid DRM. So go grab the games as long as you can and of course, don't use your main account and use VPN/Proxy. :P
