dcs18
@ sanjoaI agree with Marik - I prefer the hosts method as it's the cleanest fix (no need to patch any IDM file.)Read from post # 41 onwards if you wish to employ it.

Ashish
I have other unique problem with IDM.upload ratio is 50 % of the downloads through idm. Can't understand how can IDM sent uploads while downloading a file that too half the size of the downloads.Whilst downloading netspeed monitor shows negligible amounts of uploads around 1-2 % of the download size. But ISP logs also confirm the KIS firewall data.I am using Babelpatcher and don't think that is responsible for such amounts of uploads in idm. november_ra1n
Using BRD patchYou can use host method as dcs18 recommand it is clean way also there is few patch works but also if you want to try one of the clean patch there is no fake serial display appear >>> #
Sentry
BRD's patch is glitchy for latest IDM versions, so besides that classic nag about the fake registration, after a while you will get another one related to being using a cracked version. I'm using the iOTA's crack and it is working flawlessly so far. ;)

I only use patch on VMware patch the file then copy and replace if it is available if not leave it! https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/9c0208af1eeb9f75c5fd3971a816ca30947c935fa4a29fec97a4574312b4522e/analysis/'>VirusTotal Result 23/

avmad
Just uninstall it Sanjoa, and cleanup leftovers before reinstalling. Then choose your fix method of choice. No big deal B)
maia
I don't use IDM...but i I think the patches that are attached in the "nsane down" section are all clean.I have always used these patches for years - and still use today - and my OS are never found to be infected because of them.So I would like to reassure all ..... ;)
debebee
TS maybe you are autoupdating your IDMwhenever the program auto updates or whenever you install a newer version over a patched one ...always RE-patch it again with babel...... or else you will get that message..
