Administrator DKT27 Posted March 28, 2013 Administrator Share Posted March 28, 2013 EA has officially unveiled the first gameplay trailer for Battlefield 4, and it looks mind-blowing. During GDC, EA also confirmed the game would be coming to the PC this fall, but the mention of any next gen release was mysteriously absent. You wouldn’t believe that this game would come to the current generation of systems, but if you do a search for Battlefield 4 on EA’s Origin, the game is listed for the Xbox 360 and the PS3. The trailer also showcased Dice’s new engine, the Frostbite 3.There were no details released for the engine, but in the trailer, you can clearly see the vast improvements the engine brings. In the face animations alone, it just doesn’t compare to BF3, the character models themselves have gotten updated as well. There will be a beta sometime this fall, and if you purchased the disappointing Medal of Honor: Warfighter, you’ll be automatically entered in to the beta. It’s interesting to notice how EA didn’t announce the game for next gen consoles, but we can speculate that they’re waiting for the right time to reveal the game. There has also already been a lot of hate focused towards the 17 minute gameplay trailer, stating that it’s only a minor upgrade to BF3, but I have to vehemently disagree with those statements. The trailer is below. :view: View: Original ArticleLooks kickass. :)
