nsane.forums Posted March 12, 2013 Share Posted March 12, 2013 HTC has confirmed that most of the global shipments of its HTC One Android smartphone have been delayed until April, except for O2 in Germany and for any previous pre-orders.HTC officially unveiled its next major smartphone product, the Android powered HTC One, in mid-February. At the time, the company said that shipments of the 4.7 inch HTC One would begin in late March in the US and other parts of the world.Today, HTC admitted that those plans have changed, at least for most of the world. Engadget reports that according to a spokesperson for the company, the HTC One will now begin shipments sometime in April. There will be two exceptions. One is in Germany, where it will still go on sale late this month via the O2 wireless carrier. Also, people who pre-ordered the smartphone will also get the HTC One shipped to them by late March.HTC has not revealed why it has pushed back the launch of its flagship product a few weeks, although it's more than likely there were a few problems on the manufacturing end to solve.
