nsane.forums
Adobe has released a smartphone and tablet version of Photoshop, called Photoshop Touch, for Android and iOS devices. Users can modify images with many of Photoshop's more popular features. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=KW10V1pMxEk Adobe's Photoshop image-editing software is known for being a demanding program on computers – so demanding that many thought it would never make its way to smartphones. That changed yesterday when Adobe released Photoshop Touch for Android and iOS devices. While Photoshop Touch has been available for iOS and Android tablets for more than a year, this is the first time the company has released the app for smartphones. Despite the smaller screen, however, many of the same features are available, including text insertion, layer creation, level adjustments and filters. In addition to the editing features, users can also upload photos directly to social networks via the app's sharing feature. Images edited through the smartphone and tablet app can also be edited through the full version of Photoshop on a computer for those who have Adobe's Creative Cloud syncing service. According to the Photoshop Touch website, the smartphone version of the app requires an iPhone 4S or newer (including iOS 5 or newer) device or an Android smartphone running Android 4.0 or newer. Fifth-generation iPod touch devices can also use the app. Photoshop Touch is currently available on the iOS App Store, Google Play Marketplace and Amazon Appstore for Android. The app costs $5 for smartphones and $10 for tablets – needless to say, much cheaper than purchasing Photoshop CS6 in Australia.
