@dcs18 Yep, you're right. But, I'm tired of all this bashing man. Really! hehe! I mean each one of us is different especially on our preference. Let's just respect each others freedom to choose and be friends. ;)

i'm not holding my breath...it can look like allot of things in its dev stage and be absolute rubbish when it goes final

i just hope it won't have that stupid metro interface, my desktop is not a smartphone

Looks like we have to wait until Windows Blue comes out just to get the Start Menu back... You'd think that Microsoft would of added the start menu back in Windows 8 by now given that they keep complaining about poor sales.

far more useful than having the start menu back and getting rid of Metro stuff would be PROPER support for custom themes !

I'd love to see them after all these years open it up and offer an SDK and support for people who want modify the look of the OS.

It would ALSO solve a lot of complaining too !

how many people have download patchs or patched system files from places like DeviantArt just to use a 3rd party theme package ?

In 2013 they KNOW damn well we want that OPTION and they KNOW we want many MORE OPTIONS but they play stupid....

and if anything they take away options rather than adding new ones.

lets not argue because we all use the OS differently i totally agree but i also think MS should agree too..

and that means they can offer support for this very purpose ..but they don't ..they choose one direction and jam it down our throat.

Until they decide to flip flop on stuff as they ALWAYS have.. go back in history and any feature is a list of contradictions.

they add something to say its the future or only top remove it later and then add it back again..

As far as i'm concerned they are just trend hopping.. a day late and a dollar short and ignoring what customers want in the process..

pandering to the lowest common denominator.

can't see how anyone can defend their concept of unification.. things worked just fine before with different SKU's and platforms etc

no reason why things couldn't be split up and yet still connected, making EVERYONE happy.

i could go on and on about MS and their stupidity lol

they make their bed they can sleep in it.. screw em.

Oh yes, of course - without it, Windows 8 is a pile of sh!t. :D

If this concept art comes to fruition, I will forgive Microsoft for the CRIMES they've committed in the hacking and slashing of the Windows 7 GUI for desktop users.
