Administrator DKT27 Posted February 22, 2013 Administrator Share Posted February 22, 2013 Mark Hamill, best known for playing Luke Skywalker, expressed his possible return to the "Star Wars" franchise in an interview with Entertainment Tonight while Latino Review reported that Harrison Ford has confirmed he will return as Han Solo for "Star Wars Episode Vll". Currently, representatives of Ford have yet to confirm his reprisal of Hans Solo but Latino Review reported that all the studios need is a formal announcement to the public to make it official. However, Hamill also said, "I can tell you right away that we haven't signed any contracts", which poses the question if that includes Ford as well. One thing is for sure though, no one other than the original stars will play these iconic characters as Hamill claims George Lucas has promised that if the actors were not able to play the roles, then they would be written out of the story. Hamill also speculated about the plot, noting that it could be focused on the next generation of Jedis. "I'm assuming, because I haven't talked to the writers that these movies would be about our offspring, like my character would be sort of in the Obi-Wan range as an influential character." The only sure thing about "Star Wars: Episode VII" is J. J. Abrams coming on board as director. The movie is planned for a 2015 release.:view: View: Original Article
Alanon
If you ask me, KOTOR I or II would be much better film adaptations. But hey, as long as they do it right, I'm going to watch it. Hopefully J. J. will do a better job with Star Wars than Star Trek. I was really disappointed after watching it.
