nsane.forums
100GB cap for 15Mbps connection speeds or less, 250GB for 15-25Mbps, and no cap for 60Mbps. Data caps are slowly gaining hold amongst most ISPs as a neutral means for fighting network congestion post-FCC ruling that censured Cox for throttling BitTorrent. AT&T, Comcast, and Time Warner each have data already caps in place, and now it's been confirmed that Charter Communications has joined the list. According to DSL Reports, Charter will implement a 100GB cap on customer connection speeds of 15Mbps or less, and a 250GB usage cap for 15-25 Mbps. It's new $140p/mo 60Mbps connection won't have any limitations. View: Original Article
myidisbb
im still trying to figure out how a dsl customer could over use the service. and now for the cable ones. well, lets see, claim they can do 10 to 20 mb/s and if you actually try they bitch. F the isps. basically they claim high speeds to counter dsl winning the game. they actually only able to support 1-3 mb/s for their customers. pure fraud. but now we have pro riaa/mpaa president so the fcc will change to cap loving support. cant wait for the cda and copa new laws to come too with having a democrat in office. you alreadly have to type your bithday day ( like anyone actually puts the real date) to visit video game sites.
