Another PS4 controller image leaks, shows headphone jack

Another image of an early Playstation 4 controller design has made its way to the Internet, showing a headphone jack that has been put in the middle bottom edge of the product.

We are just five days away from Sony's press event in New York City where it is almost certain that the company will officially reveal plans for its next Playstation game console. Earlier this week, an image of an early PS4 controller prototype was posted on the Internet alongside what is likely to be the current PS4 hardware SDK case.



Today, a second Internet leak gives us a different angle on that same PS4 controller. The image, which was posted on the GameTrailers.com forum, shows that the gamepad has what looks like a headphone jack that's placed in the middle and on the bottom of the controller.

Otherwise, the image appears to confirm what was leaked in the previous photo, including the small screen that's been placed in the middle of the PS4 gamepad that might be a touchpad. The design still follows some of the themes in the previous Dual Shock controllers that Sony has offered with the current and previous Playstation consoles.

Keep in mind that even if this controller is indeed included with the real PS4 hardware SDK, it may just be a prototype and that changes could occur before the final product is launched to the public (anyone remember that boomerang controller for the PS3 reveal in 2005)?
