R0H1T
The difference is that the latter entry should work but the earlier one won't !
centserick2
yes, at first it works. but i guess it leaves something ( i don't know) what that is, which you cannot erase or delete. i uninstall it and install it cannot get past the 26days remaining. it does not say 30days...i tried to put it in host file too

R0H1T
It could be that they've added code to detect loopback onto those ip addresses(maybe circumvented it somehow) or changed the license check servers <_<

Seojinist
..only this on my hosts file > 0.0.0.0 martau.com total-uninstall.com and TU stays registered online. Nothing's changed I guess. You guys try cleaning a bit of your registry. Use TRKF, or Tune up utilities Registry Cleaner.. TU's reg cleaner is the only reg cleaner I use. It only deletes useless entries, not the ones that it "thinks" is useless. Plus, TU's reg cleaner is capable of detecting and deleting ASProtect "fake" typelib registry keys that a software leaves behind after being uninstalled. :P

Levo
Tried with the reg file ,again it does show registered on the first run ,but then closes spontaneously to restart spontaneously as unregistered trial .Very frustrating.

Levo
Ok I have uninstalled ,cleared registry using trash key finder, removed firewall rules, cleared the hosts file, then restarted, installed tu ,entered key file , readded hosts file entries, restart and again fail : ..... registered on first run and then goes to trial mode.Tried with /without the hosts file entries, and also with/without blocking with firewall, but no dice, so i guess I am jinxed.Could this be some permission issue with windows 8, (I am the administrator). So what else?
