Is this a leaked version? I went on the comodo forum and this version wasn't posted.

This is the magic of Nsane mate...nobody knows how , but you always get the updates before the officials websites...

Thanks for the update. :)

I've been using version 6 since the beta, but I experienced some problems!

When I copy or move files to an external hard drive, some of them get corrupted.

This is not a hard drive problem, because I uninstalled CIS 6 and after that I got no more corrupted files...

Anyone else experienced this? I really like this suite but I can't use it like this...

I'll test this version and see what happens. I hope it works fine like version 5 and before!

someone that has come from the 2012 version to this update. I love the new ui and how fast it restarts now compared to before. (loads the suite last, and its loads faster because of this. not that it was THAT bad at loading, just it was noticeable at start up)

however i am a bit worried comparing 2012 to the 2013 version, usually when i open new programs i have to allow them to do registry modifications and other things (internet connection, etc) but now it's not notifying me. Is this a option that they disable now by default or? I run a home server so this suite back in 2012 was alot more protection heavy and blocked ip's that i didn't know. Now I'm not sure if this protection is still there. Anyone know anything about this?

edit: thanks for the update of course :D forgot to post that :x

defence+ Hips is disable by default. (not really needed with the way Cis 6 work)

if you want it enable, you need to go to advanced setting, and enable Hips.

about the Firewall

by default, it use a white list (md5) for safe apps, and they are allowed to connect to internet.

so...

if you like to make the connection rules yourself (or if you have cracked software you don't want to connect)

go to advanced setting, firewall, and change the setting to personnalised rules.

and it will ask.

Have you add the external drive to exclusions?
