emerglines
yes, I want to learn more about it. personally interested on linux a long time go. it will be good if there's a section for it :)Its easy to learn and flexiable , you can do what you like over it and costomize it as you like plus its 99.9 free (i mean all softwares inputed in linux are free of charge + open source ) and you can install it besides your windows OS but for windows 8 i guess its a bit complicated cause microsoft try to exclude linux from being installed over windows based hardware ... Nima
Although I do not use Linux, I highly recommend to have a section for it in our forums; especially for introducing programs, softwares, distributions and also a section for news related to Linux world. :)
shought
The Software News is suitable for unix news. The Software Updates can be used for unix applications. If there were enough topics, we would have created separate sections already... There simply aren't.The Giveaways section is a nice example: there was sufficient content, so we decided to create a subsection for Giveaways. vissha
If linux comes into a seperate section, it'll be a huge headache to all! There will be more and more problems. It may be added, But NOT NOW. When Linux gets more stability like Windows XP/7, then it'll be better to add them as seperate section. And also there are more OS in Linux platform. So it is difficult to users and also for admins/moderators/staffs.If people are willing to get a seperate section, it won't be suitable. Linux needs a new forum itself. Then only it'll be usable.Update:I think it is the time to add separate Linux categories in nsane as new apps and games are added everyday. Linux has started to grow rapidly after people started to hate Windows 8/8.1. After Windows 10 development started, more Windows users and government institutions are moving to Linux.I've also moved to Linux and it is going well than before since I've been used to it years earlier. Hence, I've changed the vote to Yes. I suggest, others who have changed their mind to Linux to change the vote as well.

Administrator DKT27 Posted January 22, 2013 Administrator Share Posted January 22, 2013 I'll repeat things more simply: We need more Linux threads before a new section can be considered. Get us good threads, you get Linux sub-forum from us.
