Microsoft Microsoft soon to deliver Internet Explorer 10 Final for Windows 7

I did a repair installation of windows 7 pro sp1 on Monday.

I just can't get IE10 to in-stall again.

Might be a time stamp thing.

I already out mass their minimum requirements.

Then i think you install IE 9 and then try to install IE 10. The Win7 comes with IE8. I think you can't just move from IE8 to IE10.

yes you can install ie10 over ie8. you can install it right onto a fresh system with a fresh windows if you want to i do it all the time im a pc tech that owns a company. works just fine.

Yes of course, if IE was not pre-installed then it could be installed easily.

When I first installed IE10 last November, it installed fine.

It's only this month when I did a repair install the first time, I noticed a problem.

So I restored an image and a couple of days later, did another repair install, making sure I removed software first as it's a pain to deal with after.

The problem was no prerequisites, in this case 1, not installed.

I never got given it as a needed install on WU.

So I went to the link, found that 3 of the 4 files I didn't need and installed the one I did as a stand-alone install.

Problem solved.
