Intel HD Graphics integrates high-performance graphics and media processing right on the processor, putting the two key gaming components CPU processing and graphics together on a single chip. Intel HD Graphics can to be found on 22nm Intel CPUs: Pentium G6950, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7; and 3rd and 2nd Generation Intel Core Processors with Intel HD Graphics 4000/2500, 3000/2000. The integrated graphics chips are built on a 45 nm process and are much more power efficient than previous generation GMA cores. mikie Posted January 6, 2013 Share Posted January 6, 2013 Gave my Lenovo laptop i3 2nd gen win8x64 its first blue screen... Its a light blue screen. Uninstalled all those and went to generic vga driver and Microsoft within moments was offering me an optional intel graphic driver.. a bit old.. then updated it to the September version a while later.The current version I noticed turned on the power saving feature of adaptive display.. which I don't have and added some other new energy saving module too. - Which I'm guessing was the reason for the light blue stop screen snafu on the Lenovo.. Everytime I try to install this, it says I don't meet the minimum requirements.I'm using an Intel I3770 processor and it refuses to install :(---On a side note, does this also churn out some video rendering ALONG with a dedicated graphics card?
