sanjoa
At the start of December, CCleaner was downloaded for the 1 billionth time! That's an amazing 1,000,000,000 installations of CCleaner. A milestone that only a few other software titles have hit. (Firefox to name one) It's been 8 years since we released version 1.0 and with the help of our dedicated users, we've managed: constant improvements, 47 language translations and a massively expanding user base in over 200 countries with over 10 million new installations a month! We can't even calculate the amount of disk space saved. Thanks again to all our loyal fans, and we'll be announcing some new Cloud and Mobile products in the New Year. :)SOURCENOTE: CCleaner

calguyhunk
They're prolly including all the updates as well. Remember, Ccleaner has to downloaded and installed manually each time you wanna update. There is no mechanism for in-program updates unlike most other software you use ;) Is there a list of most downloaded softwares of all time? Every individual hosting site has their own lists. I haven't come across any overall compilation till now :(
rudrax
CcEnhancer makes it more popular..But I don't use this popular thing..Since I have installed W7 manager, I just found the ultimate solution. My system starts up at 12 sec now..previously it was around 30-40 secs.
