I have a problem with PureFix 2.03 in Windows 8. I cannot update antivirus. It asks username and password, though the license type is OEM... I had the same problem with v5.2.9.1.Has anyone the same problem?

Thanks for the update!

Same here, didn't work on win7

Went back to version 5.2.9.12 had to reinstall completly

I am considering a 'repair' function for PureFix if that would be any use?

I don't know if it would, maybe wait until version 6 becomes final :sneaky:

Well, I stand corrected going back to the older version didn't work either.

Updating doesn't work so I don't know how to fix this.....

Download with your own language :

Very easy ..; just change in the provided links the 3 letters "enu" by the one of your country (or not fare) : ie fra for France, tkr for Turkey, ...

Setup updated silently with same version.

Why did the version went back to 5.2.15.0 ?

What do you mean? Do you have a screen shot?

Please do that (if you need beta-testers, shall volunteer for you.) ;)

As you can seen the title of the thread has been changed...

Anyone knows the reason?

I have the same problem BUT on Windows XP SP3.

I've tried just to install newest ESET on existed one (5.2.9.1) and that didn't work.

And with the clean install of ESET SS 5.2.15.0 through PureFIX 2.03, still same problem.

I see now.

Should I uninstall 5.2.15.1 or not?
