Windows XP support ends in 500 days

One tip I'd always like to give greenhorns is to use any OS of one's choice but then ensure that XP is also installed (as a multiboot option.) When the primary OS gets unusable due to xyz reasons, one can always login through XP to perform the damage control - in a worse-come-worse scenario at least, retrieve valuable data.

This is really sad, because all the ways to support xp only programs (xp mode, emulation) are not that good... Its really sad for my gov and most of the companies...

I wonder if ms would release a patch for win 7/8 that would stuff up xp on purpose. :rofl:
