NickH Posted January 18, 2009 Share Posted January 18, 2009 I would like to install Nero 9 and I have downloaded it and the Nero Keygen. AVG thinks the Keygen contains a Trojan and I am just trying to scan it on http://www.virustotal.com but it is being a bit slow. If I try to run it (in a virtual machine as a test) I get the error message "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have appropriate permissions to access the item". What am I supposed to do with the KeyGen? I had expected it to give me serials to type into Nero. Do I have to have Nero installed first or is there something more to it? I haven't got Nero 9 installed.The error is due to the fact that you are opening the file from a virtual machine whilst it is in your actual machine, I think.VirusTotal Report: 18/38 (47.37%)This topic gives you the answer.
