LeetPirate Posted January 13, 2009 Share Posted January 13, 2009 Hey guys I am trying to find a good working copy of SmartDraw 2009. So far all my efforts have ended up with fakes.If you know any substitute software that can do the same things as SD please let me know. I currently use SD 2008 but I find it is lacking flexibility in creating certain charts like for instance it does not allow me to alter the date format in the Gantt charts. It also does not allow me to delete months from quarters that aren't being used, so for instance if I set project start date to september, it still shows july and august because they are part of Q3 even though they will just be wasting space. Things like that are hindering me from customising charts the way I want.Anyway I need help in getting SD 2009 or any substitute software. I basically only use it for drawing data flow diagrams, flowcharts, Gantt charts, PERT charts for now so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thanks. On this wikipedia page there is an entire list of Project Management software. Even though these are only for project management stuff and diagrams it solves my problem because my main issue was with Gantt charts. Lucky for me too I found Gantt Project which is free and open-source. :P I feel stupid for not thinking to check wikipedia all along. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
