mars_army Posted September 13, 2005 Share Posted September 13, 2005 This is just something that annoys me a little...So nsane productions is a great site and a great resource for applications and p2p stuff...but it also supplies patches/fixes/keygens and that is indisputable.Now, I thought hey, maybe I'll be able to go in the forum and ask about any possible fixes for Half-Life 2 or something...But the forum rules say you can't even discuss these things?! That doesn't make any sense...The site is a haven for not-so-legal activities and the forum even contains hashes for P2P use, but we're not even ALLOWED to ask or discuss anything related to hacking and keygens and whatnot? A general audience? Give me a break! You think families and 12 year old kids doing their book reports are hanging around this forum? I registered for the forum because I'm a huge fan of the site, so shouldn't I get to talk about things that are related to the site's content and uses?I'll probably get a lot of flaming and whatnot for this but I was hoping to start a serious and flame-free discussion. nsane Posted September 13, 2005 Share Posted September 13, 2005 most files linked to by users are illegally hosted files, ie. warez on rapidshare. now my files on the frontpage are LEGALLY hosted in countries where such files are allowed and the hosts knowingly allow me to host them :sneaky:that, or the links are usually linking someone else's hosting account... myidisbb Posted February 27, 2006 Share Posted February 27, 2006 still leaves a visitor/member a bit confused...but i guess everybody is confused about legal issues nowadays....remember this forum governed by usa law. fsh is german. you will notice different things.this is a public open forum. that means you can use search engines like google and find messages from in here. i found a link i had made or was involved in that dated back to 1997 with another isp. that means we do not want links nor talks about questionable stuff in here. the url links on the front page is not the forum. url links go to other sites. if you have something you like to have posted on the front page then pm the admin. you can even put the url links in your account by editing it.also notice you have to log in to see the p2p hash, torrent and newsgroups stuff on the bottom. thats because its not public. there is even a vip forum which is not public either. one day i hope to see it ;) just dont post in this box. simple rules for copyright stuff. now there are other non copyright stuff that can get you into trouble even if you dont think you did or said anything wrong. thats the touchy part :P Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
