dcs18
Have been amongst the first ones to migrate to the 8.1 and it's been more than worthwhile - shall be upgrading to Update 1 within the next 15 days. 8)Had upgraded my Windows 8.1 with an in-place upgrade - using my Windows in that state for about a fortnight.Despite having derived a more than satisfactory mileage out of the above in-place upgrade, I decided to perform my fav. clean and full install of the 8.1 Update, Pro.Glad to report here that my Windows is rocking - at least, until September 2014 when Microsoft will deploy their horrible Metro-ish native Start Menu as a Windows Update:-- Edited May 21, 2014 by dcs18

dcs18
Check my previous post - it is the 8.1 Update, Pro (for me, quite easily the best Windows, so far - until the second coming of the native Microsoft Start Menu.)

Deunan
When it comes to Windows, I tend to skip a version as i do with Smartphones... Windows XP Pro i used that back in the day, I skipped Vista, Went to Windows 7 Ultimate x64, Skipped Windows 8 & 8.1 (but it came with the Laptop), waiting for Windows 9.
