Bla..bla..bla.. all that W8 bashing gets me so aaargg.. I'm using it for a couple of months now and I really like it... Metro isn't even disturbing I just select my stuff and click it away if I don't need it... the rest is the same as W7 imo but then W7 tweaked and a lot faster and smoother then W7, I don't need a start menu neither, just work with other hotkeys now... ^_^

Edit: Typo

I've never been an MS hater. I have used all versions of Windows from 3.1 to 8. I actually sent back Vista for a refund - not because it was so poor - but because my Pentium 4 and built-in graphics card couldn't handle Aero. I thought Windows 7 was their best effort and if they stole the odd idea from Apple - who cares?

Windows 8 is a step backwards and here is why:

1. No Start menu - this was a quick and easy way to access programs and settings.

2. Components taken out for no good reason - see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_features_removed_in_Windows_8

3. A touch interface for a desktop or laptop? - there should be a choice and the very start of installation asking if the computer is touch enabled and if you want the "ModernUI".

4. Doesn't look as good as 7.

5 A pain to get into Safe mode.

Things I do like:

1. New light blue screen of sadness :(

I got to see this personally installing and uninstalling the new Starburn (you have been warned).
