And even though the calls are free, they are really excellent quality. If you and your friends, family or business contacts are using webcams, you can also make free video calls. pr1xsel Posted October 24, 2012 Share Posted October 24, 2012 If your concerned at looking at ads then disable promotions in Skype settings, then second thing is to upgrade Windows to Vista, 7 or 8 and add Tracking Protection Lists that will enable IE to block ads <- Skype ads will also be blocked, because it uses IE.
