If I want to uninstall a program, do not need Net On, right ? - Just need to be careful...

anuraag
Got success with Comodo HIPS. Blocked execution of Restartapp.exe through Tu.exe and blocked modification/deletion of License.dat. Other Hips may work too like ESET, Kaspersky, Outpost, Online Armor. Or use File locker

Seojinist
..So I messed up and I need help! :P..I installed v6.2.1, registered with Freddy's key Offline (we all know registration of 6.2.1 offline works perfectly), then upgraded to 6.2.2...at first it worked fine..then I forgot to block RestartApp.exe with HIPS, and it deleted the license.dat.....Now my problem is, I tried uninstalling 6.2.2..then installed 6.2.1 again, and registered it with Freddy's key and the other key for 6.2.1 OFFLINE AGAIN...now TU tells me that I need internet connection to be able to register..I think TU wrote something in the registry that tells TU 6.2.1 to require internet connection when registering......please help. :D

I guess :showoff:
anuraag
No restartapp is only used to restart TU
Seojinist
..the culprit would be ASProtect..TrashReg's freeware version can't delete it..It needs the Full Version to be able to do that.....so I think the only way to unblock TU's license is the full removal of ASProtect on the registry...currently searching for a way to do that :(

anuraag
anuraag : my problem ( win7 Pro x86) is , I don`t have the file Restartapp.exe...(c:\Users\Jofre\AppData\Roaming\Restartapp.exe) and already looked all over the computer and it does not exist... :)It will be installed by tu when it detect illegal license. First block license.dat and launch tu then check c:\Users\Jofre\AppData\Roaming\Restartapp.exe and block it with ESET (i guess you are using). Edit: It bypassed ESET hips.
