I know from my own experience that nod 32 has troubles sometimes in scanning large jar files ( limewire for instance) , causing the system to freeze even. When you start Jdownloader just take a look at the cpu usage of nod32 you'll see my point. So you'd better add to exclusion the jdownloader jar file and you'll see a difference.
