We all have been waiting for Microsoft to give us an update on when IE 10 would be coming to Windows 7 and Microsoft has finally broken the silence on the topic and it will arrive in November. Microsoft has been touting IE10 on the "preview" editions of Windows 8 for many months but has been quiet on Windows 7 up until today.

A preview edition of the platform will launch in mid-November and that's about all that we know, as of now. Microsoft has stated the following:

As we approach general availability of Windows 8, we want to provide an update on IE10 for Windows 7. We will release a preview of IE10 on Windows 7 in mid-November, with final availability to follow as we collect developer and customer feedback.

The browsers wars have been heating up with Chrome making solid grounds in the past few years on Microsoft and with Firefox releasing a new version every other week, Microsoft knows that IE10 must deliver on all fronts and provide end users with the best browsing experience on the web if it wants to stem the market-share bleeding.

On nsane? Nah, it pisses of ads people as, in future, each and every ad company will have to respect user's browser setting of Do-Not-Track, which, is enabled by default in IE10. So in other words, ad servers won't be able to track IE10 users by default, so, if one wants to be tracked by ad companies, he has to disable DNT option in IE settings.

We personally, have nothing to do with Do-Not-Track. And Do-Not-Track has nothing to do with showing off ads, only they can't track you.

Impossible. They can either not respect DNT, or respect it. And eventually they will have to respect it. To counter IE10's DNT ON by default, they have decided to NOT to respect DNT of IE10. ;)

They can't turn DNT off, that will only happen when they exploit browsers. If they do that, they will be out of business if exposed.

Sorry for going OT but, Hey Puppet, does your signature avatar by any chance have anything with the game Oni to do? I just for some reason think about Konoko from the game when I see that sassy, top-naked woman. :D

That's the Major from Ghost in the Shell anime series, though I don't remember her being topless.
