Not read the whole topic. So excuse my reply if its not relevent.

Your router has a built in modem, correct? If so try rebooting your router. Using windows commands aint gonna make a difference here as LANIPs are irrelevent on the internet. They are also assigned by your router.

Also some IPs provide ONLY a StaticIP, contact them to find out if yours is one of these.

You can "mask" your IP via things like proxies. Make sure there anon/high anon.

using modem that goes to linksys router. i was figuring the router was what was causing me to not get a renew ip. when i reboot it doesnt always get a new ip ever. after a while i get a different one. oh mine is NOT staticIP. i have the same dsl company as nsane. you have to upgrade or pay extra for a static ip.

ill test without a router this weekend i guess.

does your ip actually change when you restart the modem??

It should... I know, but my ip has been the same through 100's of restarts and its not static.

You can always proxy your IP through a high anon proxy.

Restart the modem.  ;)

yeap. disconnected the router. delete the cookie and go to the modem ip number and reset it. do that everytime and it seems to get through rapidshare fine most of the time.
