Favourite movie of all time?

Sometimes it is hilarious when a misspell creates something different entirely :lol: Then it's hard to let it go.

The post that then gets edited and corrected causes all manner of confusion to subsequent readers :huh:

IKR!!! LOL!!!!!!

I'm not going to argue with anyone.

Hate to be the nitpick here

I just hate it when people go around correcting posts for spelling and grammer. It's the internet for christs sake not an exam room.

So what's your favroutie movie of all time? Or movies? Comments?

Title should be

Favorite movie of all time?

Changed title of topic a little.

Agh well yeah, whatever!! :P

Just answer... Don't be so precise; it's annoying. Thankvyou.

You are getting me wrong. I am not being precise.

One movie everyone might probably have seen (not necessarily for the right reasons, though) is The Entity.

Nope. Never seen it. xD

I might some day, but I'm just not that into horror films. XD

A safer bet for a film that everyone might have watched is "La vitta e bella", or "Life is beautiful". From what I gather, it is the world-round favourite for showing round the holidays. xD

But I did see "It's a Wonderful Life", also a popular holiday movie and a film called "Cinema Paradiso" which got me choked up. :D Although I've seen "Life is Beautiful" being aired on TV but decided not to watch it 'coz I thought it's one of those films that will get you choked up like "Cinema Paradiso", "Shawsank Redemption", "The Green Mile", etc. :lol: which are terrific films.

Geez, I haven't seen ANY of the James Bond movies!!

No "Bond" Movie watched to date ! :doh:

You dint watch all this ....

All the Bond Girls ---

Posted Image

And more so , you mention you are from Britain !

DAMN .... You'r not even eligible for starting this thread , let alone opining about your choices ! :P

LOL ... JK ... ;)

If you havent watched any Bond movie , you MUST !

For that sheer magnanimous portrayal of loads of and every man's desire - charm , panache , stealth , character , fantasy , action and gadgetry ! ;)

As for now --

leaving all the more so common and commercial and some what obvious favorites ,

i ll write down some i can remember .

Eden lake -> Intense Thrill and Suspense . Not everybody's cup of tea , esp the end .

Requiem for a Dream -> Again .Not everybody's cup of tea . Very stark and blatant portrayal of human emotions .

Empire of the Sun -> Watch Cristian Bale as a kid . A very heart touching drama inspired from true events .

The Pianist -> Absolutely stunning cinematography and screenplay and acting . True Story .

Mystic River -> Intense slow thriller drama . The way the movie progresses is so natural . Like " If i were there , i would have done this ! "

The Descent 1 , 2 , The Creep , Rec 1 , 2 , Insidious , Shutter , Wrong Turn , The Others -> Watch if you can . Spine chilling suspense and horror .

Inside Man -> For fans of intellectuality . A very well planned bank robbery .

Training Day -> Brilliant

Shutter Island -> Mind Mending suspense thriller .

Exam -> Another slow nail biting suspense mystery .

The Untouchables , Donnie Brasco , Good Fellas - Gold classic gangster (not so old) action thrillers with some awesome performances .

Atonement -> A very good serious classic period romantic flick .

Notting Hill , As Good As it gets -> Some good romantic comedies

@avmad

Donnie Darko .

I had some hard time understanding the movie ! :mellow:

@D

Absolutely yes buddy . :yes:

Dont know , how many did . But i kind of already did guess the suspense beforehand in my head , while watchin the movie . For Fight Club .

So , although the movie did seem interesting while running , but at the end it lost it's charm !

Don't know whom should i blame .:(

( brain = scumbag or brain = smart ass ! :D )

I still remember the first soft porn movie that I had a liking for; largely due to it's aesthetic touch and absence of the 'hardcore' element. What lent a third dimension to the (s)excitement was the fact that we'd bunked college and watched the movie at a friend's vacant joint - it was the age of VCRs and the movie was The Blue Lagoon. Brooke Shields as the lasse violate was simply fab. material - her memories never fail to deliver a gradient of warmth especially in the loin region.

You bued college; as a matter of fact undoubtfully, , unquestionably, genuinely, intelligent to a great extent indeed.
